Build a Clear Brand Photography Brief

A useful brand brief connects the photographs to the job they need to do. Before choosing a location or writing a long shot list, decide who the images are for and where they will be seen.

01 / Planning notes

Name the goal and the audience

Describe the business, product, or campaign in a few clear sentences. Share the audience and the message the images should support. A website refresh, product listing, team directory, and paid campaign can each need a different mix of photographs.

02 / Planning notes

Make a practical shot list

List the people, products, details, and settings that matter most. Separate essential images from optional ideas. Include the number of products or team members, the crops you need, and any space for text in the composition.

03 / Planning notes

Be specific about image use

Tell me where the photographs will appear, including websites, organic social content, print, or paid advertising. Usage licensing and delivery requirements are part of the custom quote. Do not assume that every possible use or unlimited future production is included.

04 / Planning notes

Work through location and timing

Share the proposed location, date, access, power, parking, and any venue restrictions. If a studio setup is involved, the space is reviewed first. The number of setups, people, assistants, locations, and final images all affect the scope.

05 / Planning notes

Confirm a written scope

Brand & Team Photography starts at $1,250. That is a starting price, not a fixed image list. Schedule, deliverables, usage, travel, and final total are confirmed in writing before booking. The $100 booking fee is applied to the confirmed total.
